Welcome to Indienomics

Hello and welcome to the Indienomics Blog.

I am Daniel M and with this blog I will keep you updated with the latest development in the Indienomics world, related articles and discussions connecting indienomics to the communication world as a whole, the cable industry, advertising community, and everything in between.

So, you’re probably asking yourself what is Indienomics?

In a recent Media Post article named “TV’s Audience Problem” Dave Morgan wrote: “Television’s audience problem is one of fragmentation. More people may be watching more TV, but unfortunately, they are watching many, many more channels and more programs than they used to. The pie may be bigger, but the slices of that pie are much smaller. ”

Chaos Theory states that random or unrelated events MAY be part of a new, underlying organizing principle. We see the organizing principles within the chaos.

It is called Indienomics.

Under this new order, power is held not by industry or state, but by billions and billions of individuals. THEY make the decisions. While industry attempts to change consumer behavior, we think that the top down model is dead, and that business must change to serve people better.

Indienomics is a paradigm shift and a way to turn chaos into wealth.

The five tenets of Indienomics are:

INDEPENDENCE LEADS TO PROSPERITY. Influential viewers have steady jobs, high incomes and more money to burn.

NOT ALL CONSUMERS ARE CREATED EQUAL. Ads should not be bought in bulk. There are influencers and there are uber-influencers.

EVERYONE IS A NETWORK – the opportunity is to hit them where they program to themselves, regardless of platform.

ADVERTISING IS CONTENT. Clutter isn’t the medium’s fault – it’s your’s. Customize the message and think outside the pod.

TRUST IS KING because an influential audience trusts only the right brand in the right place.

If you follow Indienomics you become Independently Wealthy. Independently Wealthy is not about the money; It’s the lifestyle of the uber-influencers who are highly desirable, hard to reach people who tell their friends what to drive, what to wear, what to eat, what to watch and what to buy. When a brand is trusted by the uber-influencer it becomes Independently Wealthy as well.

We are in the midst of one of the biggest economy crisis in the history of this country. Aren’t you feeling better already, knowing that there is a customer at the end of the tunnel…..we just need to find him/her, cater to them, because if they will trust us, their friends will as well.
